Good News Clubs

Our Good News Clubs are one of the ways our church seeks to make an impact in our community outside of our church walls.  It is one of the most delightful ministries our church has the privilege of participating in!  Good News Clubs are after school Bible clubs sponsored by Child Evangelism Fellowship which take place in many local elementary schools across the country.  

Currently, we have a team serving once a week at Henry Elementary Schools.  Our time with the kids consists of fun songs, a memory verse for each week, a Bible story with the gospel message woven all throughout, a game at the end of our time with questions to see how much of the story the kids can remember, prizes, and snacks.   It is so much fun we often don't want to leave when our time is up.   

The kids who attend Good News Club couldn't be more enthusiastic about our time with them.  We are always greeted with smiling faces and open arms each time we come on campus, and our kids are learning so much about God's Word through our CEF curriculum.  We see lives impacted on a weekly basis as young people make decisions to accept Christ as the Savior and Lord of their lives.  During the school year, we meet every Thursday from 2:40 to 3:40 at Henry Elementary.
